The Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist will collaborate with internal customers for procurement category strategy development, contract negotiation, change management and supplier management
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant procurement experience; marine industry experience is an asset.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (asset).
Knowledge of data analytics and BI tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, SAS, Access – asset).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Knowledge of English is necessary for this role due to daily interactions with colleagues, clients and partners who are mainly located outside Quebec and in order to understand regulatory requirements and technical instructions and specifications.
