How will you contribute to our success?

  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax reporting requirements (i.e., Canadian tax returns – including T106/T1134, coordinate with external advisors for foreign tax returns, country-by-country reporting, etc.
  • Accountable for preparing annual Canadian and Consolidated corporate income tax provisions and journal entries including tax account reconciliations, true ups adjustments and facilitate legal entity tax installment calculations under ASPE
  • Responsible for all tax accounting matters
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance systems are updated accordingly.
  •  Oversee the Tax Risk Management process (risk register) and oversee quality control.

The skills you will bring to our team

  • Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at addressing various levels of challenges at a micro and macro level
  • Strong knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to taxation, particularly in an international context.
  • Exceptional oral and written presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • A team player and a good listener; demonstrates empathy, compassion and respect when dealing with others.
  • Creates a "can-do" environment; is proactive and views situations as challenges rather than problems
