Overview

CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Electrical Engineer to join our Floating Transfer Offshore Barge (FOTB) on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This operation is based in Whyalla, South Australia. Reporting to the Electrical Engineer Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for daily inspections of electrical equipment.

How will you contribute to our success?

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for:

  • Maintaining electrical equipment;
  • Ensuring operation of Transhipment Facility power generation;
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and repair; and
  • Any other duties as required.

The skills you will bring to our team

  • Educational requirement: Electrical background
  • Expired qualifications/no aspirations to return to a seagoing vessel
  • MSIC Card (required or ability to obtain)
  • Current AMSA Medical (required or ability to obtain)
  • Australian Citizen or Valid Work Visa (required)
  • Living in Australia
